This page states the rules MyResumeKit follows when it publishes a fact, names a competitor, or corrects a mistake. It is written for a reader with no access to this project’s source code, and it governs everything this site says about itself.
Who Publishes This Site
MyResumeKit is published by an organization, not a person. There is no named founder, and none will be invented to sound more trustworthy. A fabricated “team” behind an anonymous product would be a small dishonesty on a site whose entire pitch is honesty over hype.
The evidence this site offers instead is first-hand and checkable: a committed parse-test harness, its raw output files, and dated source fetches for every competitor figure it names. A byline can’t be independently verified by a stranger. A committed script and its raw output can.
How Claims Are Sourced
Every public factual or statistical claim on this site needs an authoritative source that was actually fetched and states the figure, logged in an internal register before publish. No number here is recalled from memory, and none is rounded up for effect.
First-party measurement is a valid source in its own right. When we run our own templates through real text-extraction tooling and publish the raw results, the source for that finding is the committed data file and the date the test ran, not an external link, since none exists for data we generated ourselves.
A Claim We Will Never Make
This site permanently bans the claim that roughly 75% of resumes are automatically rejected by an ATS before a human ever reviews them: the figure traces to a single unsourced 2012 marketing claim, and no credible study has ever produced it. What an ATS actually does is rank and sort applications for a human reviewer, not reject them outright.
Reviewer Credit
This site carries no credited expert reviewer today. A future credit would only ever accompany a real, named, independently verifiable credential. It will never be a placeholder, and it will never be a stock identity standing in for a person who doesn’t exist. Until that happens, no name appears here.
How We Treat Competitors
Competitors are named factually: real prices, real cancellation terms, every figure fetched rather than recalled from training data. A vendor can change its pricing at any time, so every competitor mention on this site notes that the vendor’s terms may have changed since we captured the figure, and points the reader to verify independently at the source.
Corrections
A claim found to be wrong or out of date gets corrected and logged, not quietly deleted. We would rather a reader find a dated correction on the page than an unexplained change with no record of what it used to say.
Where the Full Policy Lives
The complete working policy that governs day-to-day content decisions is maintained alongside this site’s source code, and this page is its public statement. If anything here ever reads as inconsistent with what the site actually does, tell us through our contact page.
