Most resume builders are built to sell subscriptions, and the specifics vary by vendor and currency. The ATS Problem
What actually filters your resume out
Applicant Tracking Systems parse, score, and rank the applications submitted through them before a recruiter reviews the top of the list. The most common reason a qualified resume ranks poorly has nothing to do with the candidate — it’s formatting the ATS can’t parse:
Multi-column layouts cause text extraction to scramble content across columns
Tables render as unparseable noise in many ATS systems
Graphic elements (icons, logos, charts) are skipped entirely — taking your contact information with them
